By booking or participating in any tour or experience, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms apply to all bookings made directly or through authorized partners.ead them carefully before confirming your reservation.
Company Information
Bordeaux Lifestyle Tours provides guided walking tours and curated lifestyle, food, wine, and cultural experiences in Bordeaux, France.
We act as organizer and experience coordinator.
Bookings & Payments
All tours must be booked in advance via our website or an approved booking partner.
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
- payment is successfully processed, and
- a confirmation email is issued.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings in case of:
- operational constraints
- payment failure
- suspected fraud
Pricing
Prices are shown in the selected currency and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice, but confirmed bookings are not affected.
Cancellations & Refunds
By the customer
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made after this deadline are non-refundable.
No refunds are granted for:
- late arrivals
- missed tours
- no-shows.
Refunds, when applicable, are issued via the original payment method.
By Bordeaux Lifestyle Tours
We may cancel a tour due to:
- insufficient participants
- partner unavailability
- guide unavailability
- safety concerns
- force majeure
- severe weather.
In such cases, participants will be offered:
- a rescheduled date, or
- a full refund.
Tour Modifications & Substitutions
Tours may be reasonably modified due to:
- seasonality
- venue availability
- supplier constraints
- weather
- operational needs.
This may include changes to:
- routes
- tasting stops
- partner venues
- specific products served.
Reasonable substitutions do not entitle participants to refunds when the overall experience remains substantially similar.
Third-Party Providers
Food tastings, beverages, workshops, and venue services are provided by independent third-party partners.
Each partner is solely responsible for the products and services they provide.
Bordeaux Lifestyle Tours cannot be held liable for:
- acts
- omissions
- service failures
- product defects of third-party providers, except where required by applicable law.
Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions ⚠️
Participants must inform us before the tour of any:
- allergies
- intolerances
- dietary restrictions
- medical food constraints.
We will transmit this information to partner venues. However:
- preparation is handled by independent establishments
- cross-contamination risks may exist
- ingredient control is not under our supervision.
We cannot guarantee the absence of allergens.
Participation in tastings is at the participant’s discretion and risk.
Bordeaux Lifestyle Tours shall not be liable for allergic reactions or dietary incidents except in cases of proven gross negligence or legal liability that cannot be excluded.
Alcohol Consumption
Some tours include alcoholic beverages.
Participants must:
- meet legal drinking age requirements
- consume responsibly
- follow guide instructions.
We may refuse alcohol service or remove participants who are intoxicated or disruptive, without refund.
Health, Mobility & Participation Waiver
Our tours involve walking in public urban environments and may include:
- uneven pavement
- cobblestones
- stairs
- traffic areas
- crowded venues.
By participating, you confirm that:
- you are physically able to join the tour
- you accept the normal risks of walking tours and food experiences
- you participate voluntarily.
Participants must follow guide safety instructions at all times.
Personal Safety & Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
We are not liable for:
- loss
- theft
- minor injury
- personal accidents
except where caused by proven organizational fault.
Late Arrival & No-Show
Tours start at the scheduled time.
Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
No refunds for missed tours due to delay or no-show.
Weather Policy
Tours operate in most weather conditions.
Routes or stops may be adapted for safety or comfort.
Weather-based adjustments do not automatically qualify for refunds.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay due to events beyond our control, including:
- natural disasters
- strikes
- government restrictions
- transport disruption
- public safety events
- civil unrest.
Participant Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully and safely.
We may remove participants for:
- unsafe behavior
- harassment
- disruption
- refusal to follow instructions.
No refund will be issued in such cases.
Intellectual Property
All website content — text, images, branding — belongs to Bordeaux Lifestyle Tours and may not be reused without permission.
Privacy
Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law.
Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
